What is it?
Proposition 65, also known as Prop 65, is a law that requires companies to notify California residents if any of their products contain even one of the 996 chemicals on the list known to cause cancer, birth defects or other reproductive harm.
What does it mean for you, the Honey-Can-Do customer?
Should any of our products contain one of those elements, we would be legally obligated to communicate the risks to California residents.
What is Honey-Can-Do doing about it?
We at Honey-Can-Do have spent a great deal of time and resources reviewing our products, conducting materials testing and updating our processes to ensure our products are Prop 65 compliant. We added a new department led and staffed by engineers whose primary goal is ensuring our products are safe and of the highest quality.
You will not see the warning labels for Prop 65 chemicals on any of the Honey-Can-Do products or product pages on honeycando.com because none of our items contain any of the chemicals on the Prop 65 list.
In the future, should any of our items be manufactured with materials on the Prop 65 list, it will be communicated on the product page and the item will labeled to adhere to the legal requirements to make California residents aware.
It is our goal to offer products void of these chemicals and we look forward to providing our customers with fabulous and functional (and safe) household solutions.
